I accidentally found this Appie while heading for a different shop. This is the nicer AH near Den Helder centrum. Not too busy and well stocked. The car park is a little small but there is always a space. Mopeds fly through there at stupid speeds so be careful. The girl at the check out was struggling to type with her extremely long nails which made her very slow but entertaining at the same time. They also have self scan checkout in case you are in more of a hurry.

Not being a Dutch national I visited here for the first time ever. Seems a great supermarket chain. Good products and excellent staff. However the only accept mastero as payment card! I can't even use MasterCard which I thought was part of Maestro.. very silly tbh.

Overall okay Albert Heijn, but they tend to not have certain things I'm used to getting at the AH meeuwenstraat. Product range seems somewhat more limited.
